Year 5 are very excited to bring you ‘The Great St Luke’s Elf Hunt’.
From Saturday 28th November you need to search for 15 cheeky elves who have hidden themselves in the windows of 15 different houses surrounding the streets of St Luke’s School. Luckily Year 5 have managed to secure some intel on their exact location and have helpfully provided a map to assist you in your endeavour. We need you to uncover the names of the 15 elves in order to spell out a special Christmas phrase. But that’s not all, we also want to test your Christmas general knowledge and make sure you aren’t a Christmas Grinch! So get active and get your brain working in order to win your prize!
We really hope that this will be a fun outdoor activity that the whole school can participate in. The entry fee is £2 per child and can be paid via Scopay, under ‘Christmas Elves 2020’. You can pay to enter the competition from Friday 13th November and entry will close on Wednesday 9thDecember 2020.
Obviously all funds raised will be going to the St Luke’s PFA. Please note that Father Christmas will need all the elves back to help him by Sunday 13th December so you won’t be able to see them up in the windows of the houses after that date.
Once you have paid to undertake the Elf hunt please email firstname.lastname@example.org asking for your question sheet and map. Then you can start your Elf Hunt journey! Once your family have answered all the questions you can post your completed form to a special Christmas Elves 2020 drop box that will be situated at the Elm Road entrance at drop off and pick up until Friday 11th December 2020. Your child’s prize will then be distributed by your class rep.
We really hope you enjoy hunting for the elves and completing the questions, best of luck!
